Tran Will Give Boost To Kids Club

Valdez Wrestling is happy to announce that National High School All American Thien Tran will be the newest member of the Valdez Wrestling Family. Tran, a former standout wrestler for Irvine High School and a member of Valdez Wrestling School, finished 7th at the Senior High School Nationals last year. His regular season was cut short due to an injury. Tran will primarily be assisting with our Kids Group for ages 10-14.

Coach Tran is excited at the idea of coaching and continuing to pass down his knowledge to younger generations. When asked how he felt about being added to the Valdez Wrestling Staff, he replied, “I am truly honored to help Coach Valdez as an assistant coach. He has trained me throughout my high school career and it feels great being able to give back.”
