Valdez Wrestling is the Premiere Wrestling training gym of Southern California. The Valdez Wrestling System has proven time and again to be successful at the highest levels. Boasting League, CIF, Masters, and State Champions. Valdez Wrestling Camps are a sure way for any wrestler to reach the top and become an elite wrestler.
Our Camps are designed for serious wrestlers who are committed to getting better. Valdez Wrestling Camps are designed to push you to the limit while teaching superior techniques. You will learn how to execute a variety of moves that will definitely improve your wrestling. You will complete a rigorous daily schedule that will include hard wrestling practices, world-class technique, cross training, conditioning, team competitions, and mental preparation.

SUMMER LEG RIDING CAMP
Leg Riding is such an important skill set to have in order to reach the elite levels of wrestling. This is why Valdez Wrestling has dedicated an entire 3 day camp to this essential and difficult skill. This 3-day Leg Ride camp is designed to help wrestlers with fundamental and advanced leg ride techniques. We cover everything from positioning, scrambling, scoring nearfall, pinning combinations as well as defending leg rides. If you want to be dominant and score points from the top position, this camp is a must.

SUMMER INTENSIVE CAMP
This 3-day camp is designed to help wrestlers improve their overall wrestling skills. Each wrestler will learn high percentage takedowns and takedown defense. He/She will also learn techniques from the bottom position such as stand-ups, leg ride defense, spiral ride and ankle ride counters as well ways to score from the top position including: leg riding, arm bar series, tilts, and cradles.

WINTER BREAK INTENSIVE TRAINING CAMP
Our 3-day Winter Break Training Camp is geared toward middle and high school wrestlers. This camp is designed to prepare you for the second half of the season while teaching superior techniques. Wrestlers will complete a tough daily schedule that will include hard wrestling practices, world-class technique, cross-training, conditioning, team competitions, and mental preparation. Sign up early. Spaces are limited.
Bring your own lunch, 2 sets of workout gear, and tennis shoes. Healthy lunches, snacks and drinks may also be purchased on site. Sign up early. Spaces are limited.
