Training and instruction:

Valdez Wrestling School is dedicated to providing the very best quality in coaches, training, and technique. Head Coach, Dane Valdez, has had success in wrestling at every level and is considered one of the best technicians in the country.

Coach Valdez knows what it takes to compete at the highest levels, and his ability to pay attention to detail when teaching high-quality technique sets him apart as one of the best. Our wrestlers will learn and develop the highest percentage techniques that are being used at the collegiate and Olympic levels.

Repetition and Reinforcement:

It takes years to master the disciplines and techniques of an elite wrestler. Attending a one or two week camp once or twice a year is not the formula for producing elite wrestlers. Most one or two week camps are extremely crowded and offer very little, if any, personal attention. Most one or two week campers are exposed to several techniques but do not have the time to actually develop them.

Valdez Wrestling School sessions are spread out over several months and continue throughout the year in order to allow your wrestler the time to master the techniques and incorporate them into his/her wrestling.

Valdez Wrestling School is the only school in Southern California that offers year-round wrestling sessions and private lessons to give a young wrestler the repetition and reinforcement needed season after season, which is the key to becoming an elite wrestler.
